40th Birthday Party Dinner
A gorgeous six course dining menu with wine pairings for a 40th Birthday to remember
One of our loyal clients wanted an extra special indulgent birthday party. Initially we discussed a three course meal, however after a consultation meeting to spark ideas, we thought a six course menu of smaller more refined dishes would make the evening memorable.
Our client also wanted special touches for the dining table so we helped with the styling which would fit in their warehouse style property. Fresh wild flowers mixed with luxurious roses and hydrangeas looked stunning against the pewter charger plates and cutlery. For a little sparkle the silver rimmed glassware made the table glisten along with the twinkling candles. The fresh white linen napkins were tied with lavender which added to the floral theme.
The guests started with an amuse bouche shot of butternut squash and sweet potato soup with a parmesan biscuit. This was followed by a scallop starter, trout course, palette cleanser, venison course and melting chocolate bomb dessert. Each course also had a carefully chosen wine to match the flavours in the dishes.
