As we move into Autumn, here is a recipe of one our new Autumn Canapes for easy entertaining at home – go on give it a go!

Feta, Butternut Squash, Mint and Chilli in Filo Pastry with Chilli Jam

Ingredients

1 x Pack Filo pastry               1kg Butternut Squash , Sugar

Butter, melted                       Chopped Large Handful of Sage & Mint
                                                 1 Finely Chopped Chilli
                                                 2 Cruched Garlic Cloves
                                                 150g Crumbled Feta

                                                 Salt & Pepper


Directions

Roast the butternut squash with a bit of sugar until dry and soft. Let it cool down and chop roughly. Add the rest of the ingredients and slowly mix together. Cut the filo pastry into lines of about 2 inches wide and brush them with melted butter. Place a small tablespoon of filling at the end of the strip, and fold it into triangles – see video in instagram.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 180C until golden brown. Serve with Chilli Bees Chilli Jam.
